The Art Social is opening in Castlegate

A new art gallery is set to open (when restrictions allow them to) on Snig Hill, Castlegate. The Art Social, next door to Albies coffee shop will be managed by social enterprise Yes2Ventures, who will be working alongside local creatives to develop an inclusive space that will grow beyond the initial phase of an art gallery.

The Art Social are kicking things off with Through The Window, an exhibition featuring work from Gordon Snee. This will be followed by work made by those who have been part of Yes2Ventures workshops and programmes whilst the money raised from The Art Social will go back to Yes2Ventures, helping them pay wages and offer more opportunities.
