Glass Onion Save the Children

Glass Onion bring some much needed happy news

As this year hasn’t quite got off to the merry start we’d hoped for, it’s our pleasure to bring you some feel-good news.

In December, well-loved vintage shop Glass Onion teamed up with Save the Children. Their aim was to raise as much money as possible for this amazing charity by selling vintage Christmas sweaters. Their aptly named #ChristmasJumperDay appeal managed to sell 65 sweaters, resulting in £498 raised!

Save the Children is such an important cause and focuses on the survival, protection and education of vulnerable children al over the world.

Glass Onion’s contribution to them is just the kind of compassionate, positive news we all need to hear and if you’d like to learn more about how you can help this charity too, click here.

Originally only a two person operation, founded in 2006, this amazing vintage store began in the founder’s Grandma’s coal shed! Leap forward 14 years, and they now have 10 units, a staff of 45 and a huge collection of vintage wear that will have you rifling in your wallet.

Sadly the Christmas jumper days are behind us, but if you’d still like to get your vintage fashion fix, have a browse at Glass Onion’s online store here.

The Shop is open! Shop safely with all your favourite independent makers and creators in one place.
